The Tianqin Project is a research program launched by Sun Yat-sen University to carry out gravitational wave detection in China, and the Tangjiawan Dananshan Emergency Shelter Project is to build laboratories and supporting facilities for this program. The Tangjiawan Dananshan Emergency Shelter Project is located in the north of Zhuhai, within the Zhuhai campus of Sun Yat-sen University, and includes the main body of the tunnel and connecting roads. The main body of the tunnel is a "medium" shaped structure with one main entrance and one secondary entrance, with a total area of 24,030 square meters.
