In this technical improvement project, Heilongjiang Electric Power Company cooperated with Heilongjiang Hengdian Lightning Protection Engineering Co., Ltd. to conduct a systematic analysis and targeted transformation for the Diaoyutai Wind Farm's complex distribution environment, frequent tripping phenomenon, irregular distribution of tower topography, and uneven distribution of soil resistivity.
The transformation was done on the whole line of tower grounding in a targeted manner, focusing on strengthening the ground network impact resistance and making fundamental adjustments to the environmental structure within the effective range of the ground network through flexible grounding technology, so that its impact resistance is greatly enhanced and its ability to absorb lightning charges is greatly enhanced, resulting in a significant reduction in lightning overvoltage.
After the transformation, running for more than a year without another lightning trip, verifying the effectiveness of the work of both sides, confirming the accuracy of the judgment of the problem, the measures taken are appropriate, and achieved satisfactory results. At present, the line not only runs stably, but also saves a lot of maintenance costs for the country, and also greatly reduces economic losses.
